The publication of newly-revised Canon Law is always an event of great importance in the Church. The revisions were made and the reformatting was done to the Canons in an effort to make the Church legal text more meaningful and accessible to the clergy of the Anglican Rite Roman Catholic Church. These Canons touch on all aspects of life within this Particular Church. Therefore, familiarity with the Code of Particular Canon Law by all clergy and others engaged in pastoral work is essential.
